About Feed The Hungry Inc.

Feed the Hungry Inc. was formed in 2009 at a time when America was going through a recession. From two pieces of bread and a piece of bologna. This organization since its formation has served over 1.5 million servings of hot meals and produce in 14 cities in Georgia and South Carolina.Now one of the largest holiday celebrations in the nation every year feeding thousands.Recently Feed the Hungry partnered with St. Joseph Candler in 2019 to open the Empowerment Center, a one stop shop resource center that helps people get back on their feet. Since the Empowerment inception we have helped over 244 move from rentability to purchasing a home. We offer GED classes, continuing education, after school programs, conflict resolution, workshops and seminars. With partnerships from Savannah Technical College, St. Leo University, Georgia Port Authority,CGM CMA, Georgia Power and others. We have hundreds of volunteers from military, churches, businesses, schools and more.Together we stand to "Give poverty n eviction notice".
